Outbreak is Zero Latency VR's original zombie survival experience. Your crew is dropped into a city overrun by the undead, moving through hospitals, sewers and rooftops together to find the only cure before time runs out. It's played standing up, weapons in hand, with your whole group in the same physical space.
Outbreak supports groups of up to eight players at once, all moving through the same space side by side. Smaller groups can play too, though the experience is built around teamwork, so bringing a full crew gives you more people to watch each other's backs.
Yes. A briefing before you head in covers everything you need, including how to move, aim, and work with your crew. You don't need any prior VR experience to take part. If you can walk and hold a blaster, you're ready to fight.
The Outbreak experience runs for around 30 minutes, plus a briefing beforehand to get your crew ready. Exact timing can vary slightly by venue, so it's worth checking with your local Zero Latency VR team when you book.
Outbreak is intense, high-energy and built around teamwork, not horror. Hordes of the undead bring plenty of tension, but the pace is thrilling and adrenaline-charged rather than dreadful. You're moving through the fight with your crew the whole way, backing each other up as a team.
