Threat: Lethal is a tougher team mode built for squads who want a real challenge. The alien swarm hits harder, only a teammate can revive you if you go down, and if your whole squad falls, the level resets. It's designed to test coordination and tactics, not just aim - the ultimate proving ground for players ready to go beyond the standard mission.
Threat: Lethal is best suited to squads who've already completed the standard mission. It's faster-paced and more tactical, with tougher enemies and a stricter revive system that rewards squads who already know how to communicate and coordinate under pressure. First-timers can take it on, but we'd recommend starting with the standard mission first to build the skills Threat: Lethal demands.
Every squad is ranked on the Threat: Lethal leaderboard, with the highest scores going to teams that finish fast and face down the most enemies along the way. The your squad performs, the harder the swarm fights back - so a high score is genuinely earned, not just a countdown clock.
Threat: Lethal runs up to 30 minutes; Threat: Lethal Extra adds up to 15 more, giving your squad extra time to find their rhythm and push further into the mission. Both modes carry the same stakes - team death restarts the level either way.
Threat: Lethal is played in squads of up to eight, though smaller teams can take on the mission too. Just remember - the size and coordination of your squad both shape how the mission unfolds.
