What is the best way to reach the venue using public transport?
Zero Latency Brisbane is well served by public transport. Several bus routes including 300, 306, 309, 322 and 60 stop within a short walking distance of Chester Street, with the nearest stops around four to six minutes’ walk away. The Fortitude Valley train station is also within walking distance, about nine minutes on foot, and ferry services at Teneriffe are around thirteen minutes’ walk away if you prefer river transport.
Are there parking facilities available at or near the venue?
Yes. We have four dedicated car parks specifically for our customers. While these are reserved for your use, we cannot always guarantee availability during peak times as overlapping sessions mean groups often arrive before the previous players have left. There are also various parking options around Newstead, including street parking and nearby paid car parks.
What dining options are close to the venue?
Newstead and the surrounding Fortitude Valley area offer a wide range of dining options. The iconic James Street precinct is just a short walk away, featuring a premier selection of cafés, eateries, and restaurants perfect for a meal or snack before or after your VR session.
Can I bring my own food or drinks into the venue?
We do not permit outside food or drink to be brought into the venue, except when catering is organised specifically for group bookings and events. We have an on-site self-service vending machine stocked with light snacks and a variety of energy, soft, and sports drinks. For full meals, we recommend visiting the many brilliant dining spots in our local neighbourhood.
How many players can participate in a single session?
Each VR session accommodates a maximum of eight players, allowing groups to play together in the same free-roam experience. We also accommodate larger groups through back-to-back sessions. Group booking discounts and a wide variety of package lengths are available Monday to Friday, excluding weekends.
When did Zero Latency Brisbane begin operations?
Zero Latency announced its Brisbane venue in 2017 and opened in October of that year, becoming part of the global network of free-roam VR arenas.
